I couldn’t be happier for London-based musician Joe Armon-Jones and his future. Still fresh off his last album Starting Today and his last single “Icy Roads (Stacked),” the talented keyboardist is back with a brand new single featuring one of his favourite ever musicians, Georgia Anne Muldrow.
The single is titled “Yellow Dandelion” and features the same ethereal, funky tone I’ve come to love and admire about the artist. The drums and wind instruments throughout the track are a brilliant soundscape for Joe to absolutely smash it on keys, bringing an aura and energy to the track that is just incredible. The whole track is soulful, and Georgia’s overpowering vocals bless this track with some true, LA legendary shit. It’s a mesmeric track, that breaks down into an incredible piano solo that just makes this an emphatic moment that keeps me looking forward to his new album.
Speaking of which, it is titled Turn To Clear View and will be released on the 20th September via Brownswood Recordings. Listen to “Yellow Dandelion” featuring Georgia Anne Muldrow below via Bandcamp and don’t forget to support!
