Music: Ian Ewing – Overnight

Ian Ewing is a talented producer based in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. His new project is titled Overnight EP and features some incredibly moody and gorgeous beats. With a spacey atmosphere, the musician is able to craft an engaging album, one with bass-driven beats, colourful synths and a meditative, introspective tone.

Featuring the likes of Flamingosis, who released one of my favourite albums this year, Yasmeena, who provides heavenly vocals on the track “Willow,” Rob Araujo and Kenny Reichert, this really is a pleasant album to listen to, and one which still keeps the vibe of summertime, even though that season is almost leaving us. 6 tracks long, it doesn’t over-welcome its stay. In fact, if this was a couple of tracks longer it would have been even more amazing, but this right here is a great EP, and one deserving of recognition.

Listen to Ian Ewing’s Overnight EP below via Bandcamp, and make sure you support in any way you can.
