Music: Galcher Lustwerk – Information

Cleveland-raised, New York-based producer and DJ Galcher Lustwerk has come through with a brand new melodic and synth-heavy electronic album titled Information. It’s a cohesive project that features some incredibly catchy and soulful cuts that are perfect for the dancefloor.

After the slow-building and synth-heavy opener “Left in the Dark,” the project explodes into life with “I See A Dime,” a rhythmic and soulful cut featuring some melodic synths and vocals that act as a series of passing thoughts and observations that add texture to the record. It’s a catchy track, with its interlocking drums and ethereal synths throughout. “Another Story” continues the rhythmic drumming and spoken word-like vocals. The subtle percussion throughout is also great. Tracks like “Bit” and “Fathomless Irie” feature some bass-heavy production too, with the same kind of moody, atmospheric tone that is present throughout the entire album. “Speed” is a footwork-inspired cut, while “Been A Long Night” has the making of a soulful R&B cut. Overall, Galcher Lustwerk has released a stellar album full of eclectic electronic tracks that feel soulful and intimate.
