Music: Ego Ella May – Girls Don’t Always Sing About Boys (Single)

Super talented and inspiring London-based singer Ego Ella May has come through with a brand new single titled “Girls Don’t Always Sing About Boys” off her upcoming new album. Her So Far anthology album she released earlier this year was stellar, and this new single is produced by one the best musicians at the moment, Eun.

The incredibly lush beat features stunning synths and keys throughout that add a moody, meditative tone to the record, and the beat is both subtle and quite poignant. Ego Ella May’s vocals are as smooth and golden as honey, as she talks about love, family, and other things aside boys. “We’ll go to school and then get married and start a family” she sings angelically. Overall, this is such a beautiful single, and I literally cannot wait for the album, because I’m telling you, she’s one of the best vocalists at the moment, to me at least, and she has the potential to really reach the stars, musically.

Listen to Ego Ella May’s brand new single “Girls Don’t Always Sing About Boys” below via Spotify and don’t forget to support! Her new album is coming soon, and will be released Upper Room Records.
