Music: brainorchestra- Master Control Program

New Jersey based producer brainorchestra comes through with a brand new album titled Master Control Program. I’ve been a fan of his since 2017’s DOMÍ album, so it’s always great hearing new music from the talented artist.

Rooted in hip-hop, the amazing beats throughout the album are textured with soulful synths and strings that add an ethereal quality to the overall project. This can be heard on the opening track “Incerto [80],” and on “Sentiment City [86]” there are vocal chops complemented by subtle guitar leads and synths throughout. The psychedelia of “No One [84]” is impressive, with fuzzy guitars and synths that give this track a groovy feeling to it. The cosmic vibe of “Ambrosetti [86]” fantastic too, as are the other tracks on this project. Overall, brainorchestra has released a cohesive and incredibly soulful and textured project, and I’m excited for what’s next for the talented musician.
