Talented multi-instrumentalist Michele Manzo has come through with his highly anticipated new album titled ALL RISE. Drawing inspiration from hip-hop, soul, dub and Brazilian music, the talented musician has created a funky and engaging new album that captures a true soulful aura that I absolutely love.
The first two tracks “All Rise” and “Crackablackalacka” feature LA legends Georgia Anne Muldrow and Dudley Perkins, who bring the funk and introspective lyricism. The basslines and drumming on these tracks are infectious, as synths and subtle guitar leads add texture and beauty to these instrumentals. “Soundtrack for the Summer” is a heavy, infectious and hard-hitting track and I absolutely love the energy of it. “Train from Cali” features some gorgeous guitar leads and ethereal synths that add a lightness and aura to the track that just feels mesmerising. “Another Day in LA” is another great track, with vocals from RayClev that complement the track brilliantly. “Afternoon Smoothness” is another stellar track, with thumping drums throughout. “Mirror Universe” has synths and electronic effects that complement the tone of the entire project perfectly, while “Infinite War” is a groovy, funky and thumping closer to this tremendously beautiful and engaging album. Overall, Michele Manzo has come through with an absolute killer album, with infectious, groovy beats and hypnotic synths and guitar leads throughout that just elevate the sound of the music to new heights. Great, great job!
