Melbourne based band 30/70 have released a brand new single titled “Backfoot” ahead of their highly anticipated new album Fluid Motion, out on October 25th.
With saxophone leads, gorgeous strings and a thumping beat that sounds incredible, this track is vibrant and brings such infectious energy. Allysha Joy’s vocals are brilliant, while Horatio Luna’s basslines are groovy and funky. There isn’t much of an ethereal, vibrant tone to this track in comparison to the incredibly textured and beautiful “Tempted,” but it’s still a hard-hitting track that I’m sure will fit in well with the rest of the album.
