Music: Tenderlonious – THINK TWICE

22a label founder and multi-instrumentalist Tenderlonious comes through with a brand new EP titled THINK TWICE. Having been a fan of his through projects such as The Shakedown and Ironside with Ruby Rushton, it’s always exciting hearing new music from him, and as usual he doesn’t disappoint with this release.

“Think Twice” starts the album off with a smooth electronic rhythm and syncopated drums and synths that bring the track to life. “Uncle Larry” is an electronic, broken-beat gem, with an infectious melody and groove. The ethereal synths on “Big Leffe” are beautiful, as the beat of this record is infectious. Finally the funky guitar rhythms and flute on “Tru Blu” are beautiful and together with the broken-beat production, makes for a pretty good closer to this project. Overall, Tenderlonious has produced another good project, and it’s always great seeing him add more gems to his discography.
