Talented musician Invention_ has come through with a brand new beat tape titled fauxlii. I’ve been familiar with his music for a while now, but it’s the first time I have covered him on the website.
The tape is smooth and soulful, full of beautiful, synth and horn-led melodies. “where_are_we” and “young_green” kick the album off with gorgeous, ethereal synths and an incredibly beautiful vibe that just keeps on going throughout the 15 track album. The stunning production on “downstream,” “marsh” and “hideaway,” include intricate synths and keys sprinkled throughout, as well as the angelic strings and electronic effects. Invention_ is really able to create a stellar, beautiful vibe throughout. It’s a tremendous project, and I hope the talented producer continues putting out music as good as this.
