Music: Jimi Tenor & Freestyle Man – Are We It?

Jimi Tenor & Freestyle Man are Finnish electronic duo that have released some stellar music in the past. Are We It? is their brand new project, a 4-track EP with groovy and funky electronic rhythms.

“Journey (That Mistook His Way For A Road)” starts off with a groovy, catchy House tune with slick synths and keys that sound beautiful, rhythmic and layered. The vocals on the record are a welcome addition to the overall sound and rhythm of the track, with percussion and flute adding depth and texture. “Jori’s House” is another incredible funk-driven record that brings eclectic grooves and infectious rhythms. “Smoke & Alcohol” is a wonderfully catchy jazz-inspired track, while the “Are We It? (Alone In The Universe)” is a hard-hitting electronic masterpiece, as it’s haunting, eerie tone is what makes it a menacing ending to the EP. Overall, Jimi Tenor & Freestyle Man have released an excellent new project, one which will hopefully be played on dancefloors around the world.
