Music: AceMo – Ace’s Acid

New York based producer AceMo comes through with a 5 track EP titled Ace’s Acid. It is an a project full of abrasive, acid house tunes that are high in tempo and energy.

The track kicks off with “Ace’s Acid,” a warped 5 minute trip, with thick synths and a heavy beat that’s complemented by claps, some percussion and high-tempo energy that just pulsates through my veins. “Funky Acid” is as the title suggests -a funky tune. With heavy, thick synths and an infectious groove, this track is incredible. “Freaky Acid” features Donis and is a colourful cut on the EP that features more animated sounds and subtle vocal samples that add an odd personality to the record. “Matrix Acid” is slightly dubstep inspired with its syncopated drumming and heavy beat throughout. “Acid Noir” is a brilliant closer to the project, with its high energy and incredible rhythm. Overall, this is a great house EP that deserves to be shared and supported. Big up AceMo!
