Music: Billy Dukes – 99 Miles ft Tinyman, Lex Amor & Seinna (Single)

Intalekt and GeeFree are the future. Together as Billy Dukes, they released one of my favourite albums of 2018 with The Intervention, as well as some of my favourite live shows. They are back with what I consider their best track to date, “99 Miles.” Featuring Tinyman, Lex Amor and Seinna, this record exceeds all my expectations with a phenomenal beat, introspective and heartfelt verses and a soulful aura that I just can’t get enough of.

I wanted to take a moment to rave about my guy Intalekt. Even though I met him only last year, his music growth has been beautiful to watch. “99 Miles” is produced by him and features a stunning beat, which kicks off with this soulful folk sample, before breaking into this futuristic break beat. Lyrically he has improved a lot, with clever punchlines and wordplay, as his personality shines through as well. GeeFree aka the charismatic chicken addict, comes through with a usually clever and vivid lyricism. Tinyman is turning L’s into lessons and wisdom into weapons on his verse, while Lex Amor provides a dreamy, angelic tone to her section of the track. Seinna’s confident delivery is a standout on the track. Overall, as I mentioned, this is their best track to date and it makes me so hyped for any potential new album coming out soon. Make it happen guys!
