Once Bristol-based artist Chikaya comes through with a brand new single titled “Castles,” off what I hope is a brand new project coming soon. Now London-based, the talented musician has impressed me with her beautiful vocals and cosmic production, especially on her last project titled Descend EP, and she does not disappoint with this new single.
With heavy, thick synths that sound very 80s, New Wave inspired, the track is complemented by fantastic drums and Chikaya’s gorgeous, soothing vocals that just fit in perfectly with the cosmic tone and melody of the track. Even the cover art to this single give some psychedelic vibes, and her ability to create such a wonderfully eclectic aura with her voice is just amazing.
