Multi-instrumentalist, producer, DJ, and 22a label founder Tenderlonious comes through with another album titled HARD RAIN. This time, rather than focusing his efforts on his impeccable talents on flute, he releases a funky house album. With futuristic sounds and tremendous amounts of energy, HARD RAIN is definitely one for the dancefloors.
From the synth-heavy grooves of “Casey Jr.” and “Hard Rain,” to the more soulful and funky groove of “Love You,” the 10 track album is full of memorable moments, with overpowering, bass-heavy production to smoother, more mellow moments. What is clear though, is that Tenderlonious is one of the most important musicians within the London scene, and it’s always a pleasure hearing new music from him.
