Music: Adam Kroll – Stories From the Outside

Cologne-based producer Adam Kroll comes through with a new meditative and abstract new project titled Stories From the Outside. Just 5 tracks long, this new project of his takes you through an ambient and meditative journey with smooth synths, basslines and keys throughout that really give out a stellar vibe throughout.

Tracks like “Walk In A Park” and “Dobby” really set the tone for the whole project with their blistering, soothing sonic arrangements. Subtle electronic effects, basslines that dominate the track throughout, giving a booming but calming tone and effect to the record, and an uplifting tone and vibe that just continues throughout the EP. The percussion on “Fire of Babylon System” with its subtle keys and quirky electronic effects might be my favourite moment of the project, just for it’s amazing, soulful presence, which is met with some thunder near the end of the track, perfectly ending this eclectic release.
