Music: Irreversible Entanglements – Homeless /Global (Single)

The Philadelphia / New York / DC based free jazz collective Irreversible Entanglements have come through with a brand new single titled “Homeless/Global.” The 23-minute stunner foreshadows their upcoming debut album that is due to come out in Spring 2020.

The track is frantic in energy, comprising of infectious drumming, intense horn sections and percussion. The intensity does not stop for a good 14 minutes throughout “Homeless”. The drumming slows down on “Global”, and there is a spoken word piece that proceeds, bringing poetic imagery about freedom and release. The beautiful horn sections and emotive aura throughout the latter part of the track is stunning and they’re really able to bring such amazing energy to the track. Overall, it’s a fantastic track that perfectly captures their talents and incredible musicianship.
