Overmono are a duo consisting of brothers Truss and Tessela. They have come through with a brand new collaborative 2-track EP titled POLY011 on their own Poly Kicks Label. Both tracks are dynamic and bring infectious grooves.
“Le Tigre” features some wonky beats and synths that make way for a hard-hitting beat that brings funky, energetic rhythms. The electronic effects throughout are great, and the driving beat and bassline bring this heaviness and hectic energy. ” The percussion on “Salt Mix” is fantastic with electronic synths and effects bringing a rhythmic, infectious groove to the track. Overall, Overmono have released two excellent tracks that capture their thrilling energy.
