Music: Biig Piig – No Place For Patience, Vol. 3

London-based musician Biig Piig has released a new project titled No Place For Patience, Vol. 3, the final project in her recent trilogy of projects. With production from the likes of JD Reid and Zach Nahome, as well as a feature from the talented Mac Wetha, this project is truly a captivating one, with soulful production and soft, beautiful vocals from the gifted artist.

The opener “Roses and Gold” sets the tone for the entire project, with a boom-bap beat and Spanish singing from Biig Piig, who really brings a stunning, angelic tone to the project as a whole. There’s something about the moody, raw energy of these tracks that make it a beautiful listen. The guitar leads on “Shh” are soulful, as with Biig Piig’s soothing vocals. “Pingu” is another soulful track, with trap-influenced production, while “Bar” has a boom-bap aesthetic that, with her stunning vocals, makes for a fantastic listen. “Lie to Me” with Mac Wetha is great, with an introspective verse and a guitar-driven track that is a perfect closer for this project. Overall, the folk-like charm of Biig Piig’s music is translated on No Place For Patience, Vol. 3 beautifully, as the soulful, hip-hop inspired sound gives it charm and a unique personality.
