Released on Halloween, Nosferatu EP is a dark and eerie 3-track project by one of my favourite producers right now, Wun Two. His eclecticism and sonic diversity is what makes him such an exciting producer as exemplified on his previous album Pirata.
“Mustard Gas” kicks the project up with a haunting instrumental and a dark, captivating feature from CRIMEAPPLE, who’s visceral tone and intricate wordplay makes for a great verse. The dark and eerie synths throughout, as well as some electronic effects add a truly moody and scary vibe. “The Midnight Hour” and “Memorabilia” are lighter in tone and feature more angelic synths that complement their respective beats perfectly. They are lavishly produced, with reflective and soulful moods on both productions. Overall, this is a decent little EP by a producer who always impresses.
