The legend Kaidi Tatham comes through with a quick two track EP titled Find That I Got It / Mjuvi. Having been a fan of his music for some time with releases such as It’s A World Before You and Serious Times EP, I always anticipate new music from the talented artist.
On “You Find That I Got It,” he brings a synth and bass-heavy groove that forms the melody and rhythm of the track. With the infectious beat and key leads throughout, this is an engaging and upbeat track to listen to. The dance-heavy vibe of the this track makes it perfect for the dance floor (as do most of his tracks to be fair). But there’s so much colourful tones and textures to this track in particular that makes it so brilliant. “Mjuvi” is much more percussion and piano heavy, with a more defined and raw groove that continues to pulsate throughout. Overall, while short in length, both tracks are terrific additions to his wildly consistent discography. Big ups for this release!
