Music: Smoke Trees – King of Hearts

Talented beatmaker Smoke Trees has released a brand new project titled Kind of Hearts. This is my first introduction to the talented producer, and I was immediately drawn to his moody, eclectic beatmaking.

“Ninety Days Too Long” is a groovy beat with an excellent rhythm that features synths and a catchy, head-bob heavy vibe that continues throughout the album. “Everybody Plays The Fool” and “Love Don’t Love Nobody” contain the same kind of hypnotic melodies that make this track “Be Grateful for What You Got” features sweet, electronic rhythms to end the project off in a great way. Overall, this is a good project, and I hope Smoke Trees releases more stellar music in the future.
