Music: Clark – Kiri Variations

English electronic musician Clark has released a brand new project titled Kiri Variations, a soft, textured and stunningly beautiful project that brings soul and incredible compositions to the table.

The album as a whole is incredibly soulful, with piano-led compositions that are warped with electronic rhythms, guitar leads at times and percussion that brings this animated album to life. Tracks like “Forebode Pluck” and “Banished Cannibal” are almost tribal in their tone, with incredible guitars, electronic rhythms and strings creating a moving, angelic tone to the music. The incredible synths and percussive elements throughout emote so much passion and intensity that it’s impossible not to be profoundly moved by the music. “Coffin Knocker” and “Yarraville Bird Phone” are examples of this soothing, inspiring energy, as soulful vocals are present throughout to also add to the texture and aura of the tracks throughout this stellar project. It captures so much spiritual energy, and translates it into soothing, reflective music that’s just incredible to me. This is really a tremendous body of work.
