Music: Ego Ella May – Tea & Sympathy (Single taken off her upcoming album So Far, released on 18th September)

Ego Ella May is a London-based singer who’s voice is so damn gorgeous I can listen to her music all day. She has released various singles over the years including “Table for One” and her collaboration with Lex Amor and Wu-Lu titled “Legend,” off the Untitled Basquiat-inspired compilation album.

She joins forces with Wu-Lu and legendary producer Budgie for a new single titled “Tea & Sympathy,” her incredibly gorgeous new single off her anticipated new album So Far. The production on this track is so incredibly textured, with layers of synths, percussion and keys that meander between each other in such a beautiful, seamless fashion. Ego Ella May’s vocals are stunning, with a gentle, smooth tone and aura that perfectly complements the stunning production. She talks about openness and honesty, as she’s introspective and reflective, something I hope she will show a lot more of on the album. Based off this single, I’m intrigued and excited. The album is among my most anticipated releases and I really hope that she grows and blossoms in the beautiful and talented singer that she is.
