Music: Marc Rebillet – Loop Daddy II EP

Marc Rebillet has gained global recognition through his YouTube channel where he create improvisational tracks from his bedroom. He has come through with a brand new EP titled Loop Daddy II. It’s an eclectic mix of tracks which vary stylistically from house music to groovy, soul and intense funk jams.

“Another Idea” kicks this album with an intensely groovy jam, bringing such amazing funky and dance-heavy vibes. “True Love” features a thick bassline with drumming that complements Marc’s pretty good rap verse. It’s breaks into a piano-led melody that is quite soulful. “I Feel So Alive” is groovy, with thick basslines and an infectious groove that just brings such a joyful energy. The slower-paced melody on “One More Time” is fantastic, as Marc’s passionate vocals bring soul and heart to this release. “Funk Emergency” is another freaky funk-inspired track with thick synths and basslines throughout. “In The Summer” closes the album out in a terrific way, with a soulful, thumping beat and Marc Rebillet’s vocals hitting hard. Overall this is a brilliantly engaging release, and one everyone should listen to.
