London via Warsaw producer Chloe Martini comes through with a brand new project titled Daydream. I have been familiar with Chloe’s music for a while now through releases such as 2017’s Never Twice The Same, and she comes through this time around with an incredibly smooth and funky new project that exceeds all my expectations.
“Love You The Right Way” starts with thick synths and electronic effects and features KWAYE’s incredibly smooth and soulful vocals. The synth and bass-heavy production coupled with the vocals make for a cool, fun and upbeat track that sounds very disco, and I love it. The beat on “All Or Nothing” is incredible, as it reminds me of Michael Jackson Dangerous-era music, with beautiful vocals from MAAD. “Naked” is a smooth R&B track featuring Rosalie. on vocals. “San Junipero” is a slower-paced ballad with guitar leads and synths that are stunning and so beautiful and soulful. “Daydream” is a futuristic track with electronic effects and new-wave influence that just feels fantastic. It features Bessi on vocals, providing us with her beautiful aura and charm. Overall, this is a beautiful and engaging album that really shows Chloe Martini’s talent and diversity as a producer. The nostalgic, funk, disco and R&B feel of this album really is tremendous and fantastic, so big ups to her.
