Music: DIPS & LO-WU – Take off (Single)

DIPS & LO-WU might be my favourite UK-based producer-rapper duo right now. Having released some stellar tracks together, including their previous single “Focus Riddim,” it’s clear to me that these two are a musical force to be reckoned with. “Take Off” is their newest single, and my god – IT SLAPS!

This might be my favourite LO-WU beat, with hard-hitting and bass-heavy drums as electronic effects sprinkled throughout this engaging and upbeat instrumental. There’s no end to this man’s talent, and at this point I’m praying for a 22-track album with 11 bonus tracks and 20 remixes. No pressure guys, haha. As for DIPS, well, we already know this man’s ability on the mic, and he does not disappoint again, with impeccable flows and introspective lyricism about life in London. It’s mad how tight their chemistry really is.

This single slaps, and it’ll be on repeat for quite a while I a can assure you that. Listen to DIPS & LO-WU’s new single “Take Off” below via Spotify and don’t forget to support!
