Music: The Kount – Virtually Yours,

Toronto-based producer The Kount comes through with a brand new album titled Virtually Yours,. With slick and smooth synths, beautiful jazzy tones and hard-hitting beats, this album is a terrific one, shining a bright light on his talents.

Tracks like “Half-Life” and “Nightbus” bring smooth and soulful vibes with keys and synths that sound warm over the bass-heavy beats. The groove of these tracks is infectious as he is able to add electronic effects and subtle nuances within the tracks that elevate them to a standard that few producers can. Higher-paced tracks such as “Yesterday’s Gain” and “Westbound” are beautiful tracks, with stellar melodies and a whole lot of personality. The former is groovy, upbeat and disco-inspired track that brings electronic keys and a spacey beat to great effect. The latter is futuristic with its quirky effects, but also brings jazzy melodies to the sound of the track. Overall, this is an exquisite release by one of the most exciting producers working today.

Listen to The Kount’s great new album Virtually Yours, and don’t forget to support!
