Music: melodiesinfonie – A Journey to You

I’m very proud of the Swiss beat scene right now. With producers like DRWN., Wodoo Wolcan and Eddie A making phenomenal music, it’s clear that they are here to make a statement – do not sleep on them. As someone who grew up in the beautiful, mountainous country, I have always known there to be a lot of talent around, and melodiesinfonie is another musician you should be paying attention to.

He has released a new album titled A Journey to You, a 12-track project that highlights his talents as an incredibly gifted producer, with bass and synth-heavy compositions that are beautifully arranged, providing for an animated and soulful listen. Vocal snippets on tracks like “Keep on Searching” makes for a soulful and gorgeous listening. The way melodiesinfonie is able to use live elements to his production technique is what makes this record stand out from the rest of his releases. “Peace on Earth” features this groovy, house-inspired track with keys and drumming that brings out such an energetic tone to the record. “Feel Me” is an excellent, bass-heavy track with beautiful flute and synths incorporated throughout, to make for an excellent listening.

Overall, melodiesinfonie exceeds all my expectations on this new release, and it will be excited to hear what he has coming up next. Released via Jakarta Records.
