Music: ROMderful – Press L To Continue

Birmingham based artist producer and all around super talented musician ROMderful comes through with his highly anticipated debut album titled Press L To Continue. Inspired by the likes of The Neptunes and Timbaland, his lavish R&B sound has been celebrated widely for his smooth, guitar and synth-driven production.

On his debut album, collaborations are plenty and welcome, as each artist brings unique character to the record. Shakka, Dounia, Jay Prince, KayFaraway, Wade, Devin Tracy, DEAN, TABBER, TOBi, Mali Music and Emmavie all feature, again providing a plethora of influences and sounds to this enriching project. Jay Prince’s unique style is all over “Catch Me?” with smooth, sometimes quirky vocal, while the trap-influenced “Reallove?” has Devin Tracy’s gorgeous vocals all over. “Gut Feeling Interlude” starts like Pharrell production with his signature 4-beat start, but ROMderful adds so much more with gorgeous guitars, synths and electronic effects throughout. “1 Missed Call” features bass-heavy but colourful grooves, complemented by deep vocals and an awesome vibe. “I Know” features Mali Music and Emmavie on vocals, and it’s an incredibly dope closer to the album, bringing a colourful and inspiring energy that ROMderful is able to exude effortlessly throughout this album.

Press L To Continue is a magnificent album that perfectly captures ROMderful’s musical aura and vibe, with a rich tapestry of sounds that just work beautifully. Listen to his debut album below via Spotify and don’t forget to support!
