Music: Scott Xylo – Morpheus (Single)

Scott Xylo is gonna be a legend man. The talented Leicester-based musician comes through with a new tripped out single titled “Morpheus,” off his upcoming untitled project set to come out this year.

Following his excellent release last year with Find Us When You Get There (One of my favourites of last year), the talented musician comes through with a tripped-out, King Tubby inspired dub track with an atmospheric sound. With its swirling synths and its subtle guitars and strings in the background, it reminds me of something Radiohead would have done during their Kid A/Amnesiac sessions. He really excels on this release, and I cannot wait to hear more from this talented artist.

Listen to Scott Xylo’s “Morpheus” single below via Bandcamp. He will also be on the In Search Of Radio show soon, so have a lookout for that! Support!

Hey everyone, thanks for stopping by. I run In Search Of Media with the aim of giving a platform to independent beatmakers, rappers and talented musicians. I also hope to make this a home for music discovery, interesting film analysis, exhibition reviews and other interesting content for all of you guys to dive in to. I hope to start a podcast and documentary-style project soon. If you're looking to be a part of this creative project, please go to the contact page and drop me an email, or connect via Facebook, Twitter or Instagram. I also write for 'Music Is My Sanctuary.' Thanks 🙏
