Music: Jay Prince – Cherish EP

Jay Prince is a talented young musician from East London, producing music since 2012. With a couple of critically acclaimed projects under his belt with Befor Our Time (2015) and Late Summers (2017), the artist is back with a new EP titled Cherish.

The vibe with this album, as with his past output, is R&B-heavy with smooth vocal performances and introspective lyricism about his background, those general life experiences involving love, loss, work and everything in between. Jay Prince makes all of this sound so relatable, and through the buttery, 808s-driven production, he is able to create a sound that again, is smooth and groove-heavy. It features Kojey Radical and Mahalia, who bring their unique energies to this impressive album.
