Music: Project Karnak – Equinox EP

Project Karnak is a London based duo comprising of keyboardist Dominic Canning and drummer Sam Ouissellat. On their debut EP titled Equinox, the group embark on a journey fuelled with fast-paced drumming, synth-heavy grooves and guitar leads that complement the sound of the project perfectly.

Tracks such as “Intro” and the title track are energy-heavy, which makes them perfect for the dancefloor. “Temple” is a 7-minute stunner that highlights Dominic’s talents on keys, but also the emotive guitar leads that give so much life and progression to the track. “Fellowship” is heavily funk inspired, with dense basslines and crazy drumming with a pace that keeps growing and evolving towards a grand finale. Project Karnak’s new project is joyful and exciting to listen to. I see big things for the future for this duo.
