Albert’s Favourites co-founders Scrimshire and Dave Koor come through with a new project titled Modifications: Set 2 as the duo Modified Man. Creating a sound warped in synths, electronic glitches, incredible disco and house grooves, such as on the tracks “Vanilla Gorilla” and “Croydon Rooftop Culture,” that keep evolving and progressing as the sonically, or the grand closer “Thorns,” this EP brilliantly captures the sound and essence of the inspiring music scene in London. This project is a brilliant addition to their discography, and I’d definitely recommend keeping an eye out for Albert’s Favourites, they are one of the labels to watch this year!
