Music: Fumitake Tamura & Dakim – Mudai Version

This is the second collaboration between Japanese composer Fumitake Tamura (aka Bun) and Detroit producer Dakim, who are following up their first project Mudai with a new project which explores and re-imagines their ideas off that album in various interesting angles. The result is Mudai Version, an eclectic and diverse album which is seeped in off-beat electronic beats, tribal rhythms and synth-heavy production. It’s a moody listen, and the music sounds skeletal, sombre and at times spiritual. An album and collaboration definitely to check out.

Listen to Mudai Version below via Bandcamp, and make sure to support! Released on Leaving Records.
