Music: Ohbliv – OHBLENDS SIX

One of the best producers working today, Ohbliv comes through with a fantastic new project titled OHBLENDS SIX. Remixes and reworks dominate this tape, with some soulful and intricate beats that sound as fantastic as anything he’s ever put out.

From the opener “Never Learned,” featuring sampled rap vocals to the smooth R&B sampled “Don’t Make Me Lose My Mind,” this tape brings incredible soothing and soulful beats, with an old school vibe that showcases his amazing talents as one groovy, eclectic producer. “Bustin A Handstand On American Bandstand” and “Blacknout on Bustaz” are two of my favourite beats on this project, even though the entire project slaps. Their synth leads and groovy, bass-heavy production makes these tracks infectious and rather mesmerizing to listen to. Overall, Richmond, Virginia’s finest comes through with a terrific new beat tape showcasing exactly why he’s one of the most sought after and respected producers working today. He never disappoints.
