Music: Sandunes – 11:11

Sandunes is an incredibly talented producer from India who has released a fantastic new EP titled 11:11. It’s my first introduction to the talented musician, and her incredible electronic compositions make for a stunningly beautiful listen.

With 5 tracks, the EP is textured with incredible synths and hypnotic rhythms. “Eleven Eleven” kicks the album off with a soulful, intimate melody that’s complemented by singer Landslands, who’s soothing vocals bring a beautiful tone to the track. “Shift” is a beautiful, synth and percussion-heavy track that brings a hypnotic tone to the album. The percussion and intricate drumming on “Glock” is vibrant and incredibly beautiful, with textured instrumentation throughout. The other-worldly sounds on “Ever Bridge” are met with infectious drumming and incredible keys that bring out such an angelic tone to the record. It really is an excellent release, as the live instrumentation coupled with the electronic rhythms and effects make for a stunning listen. Overall, Sandunes’ aura and stunning compositions on 11:11 makes it a breathtaking listen.
