Music: Denzel Himself & KEYAH/BLU – Birdie (Single)

London-based artists Denzel Himself & KEYAH BLU come through with a brand new single titled “Birdie,” which is off Denzel’s upcoming project titled gotha.

The production on this single is menacing, with a bass-heavy beat and electronic synths that add texture to this record. The beat is simple but incredibly poignant, as the synths build throughout the track. Denzel Himself’s delivery is raw, as the eclectic, wildly creative artist keeps pushing the boundaries of what hip-hop can sound like. KEYAH/BLU’s verse is equally as raw and visceral, as she’s able to flow effortlessly on the thumping beat. It’s a fantastic track, and I’m really anticipating new music from both in the future.
