The legend Evil Needle has come through with a brand new EP titled Lost Tape, and sees him continue releasing excellent head-bob heavy and soulful instrumentals.
Throughout the 5-track project, the talented French producer comes through with exceptional beats that feature slick synths, subtle percussion and hard-hitting drums. The soulful vocal sample on “On my mind” is incredible, as it complements the gorgeous soothing melody on that track. This is also the case on tracks like “Illusion,” which grow and develop as the track progresses, with ethereal synths and stellar grooves. “Moonlight” features Venuz Beats, who adds keys to the mix to make for a beautiful end to the track. “Flow” is another ethereally produced beat, with thick synths and basslines complementing a hard-hitting beat. Overall, Evil Needle exceeds expectations with this tape, but that’s already to be expected.
