Music: Sivey – Nobody Else/Somebody Samebody EP

Manchester-based producer Sivey comes through with a brand new EP titled Nobody Else/Somebody Samebody via CoOp Presents. The two track mini-project serves as a reminder of how much of a ridiculous talent this man is.

With emphatic grooves and a whole lotta bass, “Nobody Else” features swirling synths and keys being complemented by guitar plucks and a hypnotic groove that just doesn’t seem to end. The Danvers remix of the track adds more synths and a 2-step rhythm to it, really bringing this record to light. The funk on “Somebody Samebody” is absolutely brilliant too, with thick basslines and keys throughout giving this a punchy vibe that is hypnotic to listen to. IG Culture’s remix amplifies this further with a more aggressive energy, with heavy guitar leads and synths that dominate the whole track. Overall, I absolutely love Sivey on this release, and hope we can get a lengthier project from him soon.
