Music: Dualeh Oke – My Ride (Single) off debut mixtape

East London emcee Dualeh Oke is on the path to greatness, I see it in his musical growth over the last year or so. Despite all this, I’ve been admiring his talents to the side without actually covering his new releases, so I’m terribly sorry about that. But with the release of his new single “My Ride,” which is set to appear on his upcoming debut mixtape, I feel like it’s a good moment to introduce him to more people.

“The Ride” is a song dedicated to anyone using University/College as a safety net.  The track features soulful synths that are enveloped within a bass-heavy trap inspired beat and a catchy hook and lyrics that look at the positives of working and hustling, a message that needs to be spread far and wide, especially in an intense city like London. Based on this single alone, I’m super excited to really listen to his new mixtape, whenever it is coming out. Make sure you check out his music and support!

Hey everyone, thanks for stopping by. I run In Search Of Media with the aim of giving a platform to independent beatmakers, rappers and talented musicians. I also hope to make this a home for music discovery, interesting film analysis, exhibition reviews and other interesting content for all of you guys to dive in to. I hope to start a podcast and documentary-style project soon. If you're looking to be a part of this creative project, please go to the contact page and drop me an email, or connect via Facebook, Twitter or Instagram. I also write for 'Music Is My Sanctuary.' Thanks 🙏
