Music: Moose Dawa – The Swap EP

Talented Malmö producer and beatmaker Moose Dawa comes through with a soulful new project on one of my favourite labels at the moment Ninetofive Records.

It’s titled The Swap EP and features 6 of the smoothest and most soulful production I’ve heard so far this year. With its bass-heavy grooves and an emphasis on key arrangements and soulful production, Moose Dawa is able to create a warm texture within the music, giving it a wintery vibe. There’s just something about the mood on this EP that makes me want to walk outside in the crispy cold temperatures outside at sunset contemplating about my own creativity. Whether I’m listening to the gorgeous glittering of keys on “Dusty Butterfly” or the more melodic “Look of U,” the tape just brings a particular type of energy I’m enthralled with.

An excellent new project from the talented Swedish-based artist. Listen to Moose Dawa’s The Swap EP below via Bandcamp and make sure you support!

Hey everyone, thanks for stopping by. I run In Search Of Media with the aim of giving a platform to independent beatmakers, rappers and talented musicians. I also hope to make this a home for music discovery, interesting film analysis, exhibition reviews and other interesting content for all of you guys to dive in to. I hope to start a podcast and documentary-style project soon. If you're looking to be a part of this creative project, please go to the contact page and drop me an email, or connect via Facebook, Twitter or Instagram. I also write for 'Music Is My Sanctuary.' Thanks 🙏
