London-based singer, songwriter, guitarist, all-round dope musician Oscar Jerome comes through with another soulful single titled “Misty Head / Sunny Street.”
Produced by the legend Maxwell Owin, the single is is equally smooth as it is hard-hitting and dynamic. The infectious, groovy bassline is accompanied by stellar drumming and electronic synths which swirl in and out of the beat. The groove almost sounds Thundercat-esque with its dominant presence on the track. Oscar Jerome lyrically touches on the complexity of love, singing it in his usual, deep and husky voice. The breakdown near the midpoint of the track is exceptionally executed by Max, who really shines on this track, creating a moody, layered soundscape that perfectly fits Oscar’s aura vocally. A great new track from the London-based talent.
