Music: Kaidi Tatham – In My Life EP

After releasing his fantastic new album It’s A World Before You earlier this month through First Word Records, the talented musician comes through with a short new EP titled In My Life, featuring 4 tracks worth of infectious grooves and stellar soulful compositions which prove that he is one of the best producers right now.

“Freddie Can’t Run Away” is a funk-fuelled masterpiece which features stellar drumming and an incredible bassline that is guaranteed to make your head bob. The keys and synths add more instrumental depth and suspense throughout the track, which builds in intensity throughout. “But You Bring It Up” features a gorgeous vocal performance from Nadine Charles, with the track being a smooth and soulful journey that really captures a mood perfectly. “Is Crimbo Really Here” and “In My Life” close the project with infectious, drum and groove heavy cuts that are bound to be found on the dancefloor in no time.

Kaidi Tatham excels once again with this new release and shows us why he is a legend in the game. Listen to In My Life EP below via Bandcamp, and make sure you support! Released via 2000BLACK.
