Music: Jung Mergs- Low Tones ft Tulin (Single)

East London rapper Jung Mergs comes through with an excellent new single titled “Low Tones” featuring a gorgeous vocal performance from Tulin. Though I am not as familiar with the Plus TRBE collective and label as maybe I should be, I really dig what they’re trying to accomplish in creating a community of tightly knit artists trying to express themselves through raw and authentic art. Jung Mergs’ new single is an example of that.

Painting a vivid picture of how he met other members Shumba Maasai, Diamant Ballou and Ollie Roberts, he is raw in his sentiments and provides an incredibly passionate self-reflective verse about chasing dreams and working hard to achieving aspirations. A motivational and inspiring message that resonates with me and will with many others. The synth-heavy electronic beat is subtle but has a soulful ring to it which vibes well with the message of the track.

Jung Mergs really excels on this one and I cannot wait for more music from this exciting collective of young inspiring creatives. Listen to Jung Mergs’ “Low Tones” featuring Tulin below via Spotify. Released by Plus TRBE collective.
