Music: Captain Over – No One Really Flies

Captain Over’s mysterious, dark and eclectic aura is perfectly summoned on his new release on XVI Records titled No One Really Flies. The EP features the standout single “Sick” featuring the legend Trim who provides a dense verse which is backed up by swirling and distorted synths, as well as a heavy electronic beat what carries an aggressive energy that is present throughout. Tracks “Crack Crack” and “No One Really Flies” are electronic bangers, with synths that meander through the heavy, bass-driven beats that provide infectious grooves perfect for dancefloors. Books comes through on the final track with a smooth and more laid back House-inspired remix to “Sick” that provides a welcoming change of pace to brilliantly close this EP.
