Music: lojii – lofeye

lojii has been someone I have been anticipating an album from for years. His dark, gritty style was most apparent on his collaborative project with Swarvy titled DUE RENT, released on Fresh Selects last year. He’s finally back with his long awaited new LP titled lofeye, a dark, gloomy insight into lojii’s sound and creative mind.

Featuring his unorthodox flows, abstract yet detailed lyricism, and a dark soundscape handled by a talented roster of producers including thook, niceguyxvinny, heaprize, sadhu gold, marc rebillet and repeated measures. Taking influence from personal experiences and always aiming higher, while being “lo-fi by circumstance (not just for aesthetic).” It is a heavy, eerie and intriguing listen which requires heavy attention as lojii sounds hungrier than ever on this project.

You can listen to lojii’s lofeye below via Bandcamp below, and make sure you purchase to support!
