Originally released in 2014, Budgie’s side of The Good Book series with Alchemist titled Sweet Sweet Spirit finally sees a digital release on Bandcamp on Christmas day! If you haven’t heard of Budgie before, please get acquainted because together with Alchemist, he has released some of the best instrumental hip-hop and soul music in recent years. Part 2 of The Good Book series was released this year, and while it was slightly overlooked on the website, I have played that album like crazy this year.
