Knxwledge is consistently putting out tapes by the month. All of them are crazy, which is a testament to his talent. Every conversation I have with someone about Knxwledge’s music, I always mention the fact that to me the torch has been passed to him from J Dilla. WT.11_8 proves this yet again, with sampling Dipset, Uzi and a Mobb Deep & Nas freestyle. The beat on ‘4-5.’ is as smooth as butter, and ‘alldt_’ absolutely slaps. ‘[dnt]hatesour_’ is a blissful, jazzy rework and the soul sample on ‘kntbmad_’ is just gorgeous. Knxwledge continues to blow me away with his output, and nothing I have heard so far from him has been sub-par.

And while we’re speaking about Knxwledge, I think I should also mention the Yes Lawd! (Remixes) album released today, which is definitely worth the listen if you are a fan of the original album which came out late last year.
