Following one of the most excited releases last year in Reginald Omas Mamode IV, the South London artist is back with an equally groovy, funky and ethereal album titled Children of Nu. It’s the D’Angelo -like grooves, hypnotic basslines and bouncy drums that make this album such a joy to listen to. This is prevalent on the quirky funk of ‘Do Right’ or the 2 -step rhythms on ‘I Guess.’ It flows effortlessly between tracks, while maintaining the same tempo and grooves throughout. A true testament to Reginald’s talent.
