Books never fails to disappoint with his releases. Following the impeccable, memorable and groovy last release Feel it in my Bones, (for which I wrote a piece on it for Music is My Sanctuary), Books is back with another two tracks full of incredible, tribal and soulful energy. High Praise Edits Vol 1 features two new disco-house cuts, which are essential for late night dancefloor listening. The energy and vibe they both radiate is as infectious as previous releases, especially the raw energy of ‘In the Groove.’ ‘Passage of Time’ is more melodic, with Brazilian vibes and a hypnotic jazzy tone to it that puts you in an absolute trance.
